Megan was our waitress she was super nice and the food was delicious I like the fact that we got popcorn (first time in a pub). Had to get dessert to go because the food was very stuffing I got the buffalo chicken burger which was VERY spicy. Mom got the handock liked it. Dad got the fish and chips fish was huge pieces. The atmosphere was very relaxed and comfortable. Its a great spot to people watch and just be in a comfortable ambient. the only shocking thing was the menu we all thought it would be a lot bigger.
Stopped in here for a business lunch. Order the smashed burger and spinach dip. The spinach dip was really really good! The service was good, food was good. Over all a good experience for lunch. If you are in town. Check this place out, there is a reason why it's been around for so long!
Last Atlantic meal before flying home to Montreal. This has been a great end to a great work trip. Awesome food, quick service, hot plate, cold tap microbrewery, friendly staff. The chowder's good The fish and chips are not too fat. Using panko was a good idea. Nice spot, DO IT.
It is a great place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. Both the food and service were excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. All the food appeared to be house made and cooked to perfection. The t bone steak was amazing for a pub, and the Montreal smoked meat sandwich impressed my picky wife. The fries and garlic Aeoli were also a highlight, Do yourself a favor and get a piece of cheesecake for desert... you will not be disappointed. It was firm but smooth and creamy, and it melted in your mouth.

I came here during my visit from Halifax, NS and was treated so well and the food was so delicious. The spinach dip didn't have big hunks of crunchy raw onions which was a huge relief lol Everyone was so respectful and lovely. Pricing could be seen as a bit high for some people but for me, the quality was well worth the cost and I didn't think the pricing was overly high. Keep up the amazing work Hilltop!
Went out for a couple drinks and a bite to eat with friends. Server was very friendly and easy going, quick to serve and all around awesome experience!! Food and drinks were delicious!
This establishment is so a must stop. The food is fantastic. They offer you free popcorn (very good I might add) as your seated. Michael was our server. He is very easy to warm up to. Love everything about this place. They don't have an outside patio, by honestly they don't need one. They staff is great. Come in and check out Michael's funky shoes (another must see)!
